EP1

A 8 track leftfield/idm ep (38m 47s) — released November 2nd 2009 on Civil Music

East London's beat collaborators Reason or Romanza join the Civil Music crew along side dÉbruit, Reso, Rusko, Kotchy, Drums of Death and Starkey.

Sitting firmly between Soulful Electronica and Forward-Thinking Soundscapes these two south-end on sea beat collaborators have found new pastures in the fields between Four tet and Flying Lotus.

Reason or Romanza have buckets of credits to there ever growing name, They won the 'best music' award at the Intel short film awards for the soundtrack to Mahalia Belo's film 'Silent Music', they've been getting regular plays across the airways from beat junkies to Classic fm, Run the London's Superdisco night and also held residency at Multivitamins minimal/electronica nights in East London.

"Well Nice! Well Well Well Nice!" - Nathan Fake ( Border Community)

"Delicate and endearing, their EP is a refined and imaginative tapestry that avoids the self-conscious, urbane trappings of so many artists working within the genre." - Music-News.com

Reason and Romanza have provided remixes for Cheju (Boltfish Recordings) and Kirmann (Lobe Recordings, Lona, Records), with more in the works and now with there debut on Civil Music, they have been lent a hand with remixes by luminaries from all strains of electronic music - Loaf Recordings top boy Vincent Oliver, Planet Mu's Skweee legend Eero Johannes, Boomkats "the singles of the year? Most likely" from Black Arce's spacey dub new boy Blue Daisy, eclectic Finnish producer Recue and Electronic legends Posthuman.

Four equally eclectic remix's from the new masters of their respective sounds...;

Eero Johannes has taken the opening track 'Sunflower'. Planet Mu's Skwee Master and scene figurehead Eero has created possibley the perfect remix. So simple and engaging, quirky, emotive and a pleasure to be swallowed by.

Disgustingly deep new Darling of Dubstep and beyond Blue Daisy has produced a masterpiece with his tribal reworking of 'Seven Uses of Potential Difference'. Unbelievably this is his second official release to date, after as Boomkat said...;. "the singles of the year? Most likely" about his Space Ex EP on Black Acre.

Lo Recordings elusive 'Batfinks' created nothing more than a cosmic explosion with this work of uncontrollable techy delight, his remix of "Radiance Trigger" is potent surprise and in a category of its own, Incredibly intricate and continually surprising.

Recue finishes the package, classic early Warp/Mu electronic sounds delivered in a decidedly different and modern way.
